DATA POLICY
How pay-pig.uk handles member data.
This page explains what data may be collected, why it is needed, what appears on a member profile and what choices are available.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies when you visit pay-pig.uk, create an account, build a member profile, use member search, send messages, save favourites, use gifting or wishlist features, contact the customer team or interact with other platform tools.
2. Data you provide
Registration data may include your email address, display name, date of birth, password and country. Profile data may include your role, photos, biography, location, interests, dating preferences, availability and other details you choose to add.
Messages, chat content, favourites, wishlist activity, gifts and customer emails may also be processed when you use those features. Do not place banking logins, full card numbers, passwords or identity documents in a public profile or ordinary member message.
3. Data created when you use the platform
Technical records may include IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, page requests, time of access, referring page and feature activity. These records help operate the service, diagnose errors, understand feature use and protect the platform from abuse.
Cookies or similar storage may remember login state, interface choices and other necessary settings. Optional measurement tools should be presented through the appropriate on-site controls where required.
4. Public profile data
Your display name, profile photos, age or age range, general location, role, biography, interests and selected dating preferences may be visible to other members. The profile editor should identify which fields appear publicly.
Your registration email and password are not intended to appear on your member profile. Avoid adding contact details to public text unless you are comfortable with other members seeing them.
5. Why data is used
Data may be used to create and maintain accounts, display member profiles, provide member search, recommend relevant profiles, deliver messages, operate favourites, process gifting features, maintain wishlists, answer customer questions and improve platform performance.
Data may also be used to detect fake accounts, unauthorised access, spam, fraud, harmful behaviour or other activity that breaks the Terms. Where law requires a specific legal basis, the applicable basis may include performance of the member contract, legitimate operational interests, legal duties or a choice you have made.
6. Member checks
Where authenticity checks are offered, the platform may process photographs, video clips or related review data. The member system should explain the exact check before it begins and whether a service provider is involved.
7. Service providers
Hosting, email, analytics, customer tools, content delivery and payment providers may process limited data to perform services for pay-pig.uk. They should receive only the data needed for that task and operate under appropriate contractual duties.
If a member chooses a third-party gift or payment option, the provider’s own policy and terms may also apply.
8. International processing
Some technical providers may operate outside the United Kingdom. Where required, suitable transfer measures should be used to protect data moved between countries.
9. Retention
Account and profile data may be kept while the account remains active. Some records may be retained after closure when needed for legal duties, dispute handling, payment records, fraud review or platform integrity. Data that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised.
10. Your choices
Depending on the law that applies, you may ask for access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy. Some requests may require an account ownership check before action can be taken.
You can also edit many profile fields directly through the member area. Removing content from a public profile does not always remove technical copies immediately.
11. Keeping your account protected
Use a unique password, do not share one-time codes and sign out on shared devices. Tell support@pay-pig.uk promptly if you believe someone else has entered your account.
12. Contact
Send data questions or requests to support@pay-pig.uk. Include the email connected to the account and describe the action you want us to review.
